Electronics Engineer

Position Description:
This person will be a key player for the company by interfacing directly with customers, suppliers and in-house Production to perform product design and enhancements.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Test engineering, including test fixture designElectronic Product Design Designs and modifies analog and digital hardware circuitsEvaluate and conduct appropriate hardware/software tradeoffs Conduct technical risk assessments Identify and evaluate major system cost drivers and cost impact of system architecture alternativesTechnical-customer interfaceComponent engineeringCoordination of design engineering efforts with team members Non-Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOther duties as needed to support customer and production requirements.
Educational Requirements:
This position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Experience/Technical/Other Skills Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of electronic product design experience at the circuit level, including troubleshooting and manufacturing support.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office, ORCAD, Altium or similar schematic capture program and a working knowledge of PCB layout techniques and limitations.
Must be professional and able to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, suppliers and management.
Occasional travel may be required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to move around the facility.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, ie the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
