Product Manager

Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Product Manager (PM). The Product Manager is responsible for the oversight of the various projects within the Line of Business (LOB) to which he or she is assigned. The Product Manager's responsibility is to understand the LOB and ensure the projects are meeting the objectives of the LOB. The Product Manager's LOB is part of a Portfolio supporting multiple LOB's. As such, the Product Manager is responsible for meeting the standards of the Portfolio Management while understanding where unique characteristics of the LOB may require some deviation. Within any LOB there are multiple projects led by multiple Project Managers that may be managing more than one project. It is the responsibility of the Product Manager to ensure the coordinated effort of the various teams meet the requirements of the LOB. Responsibilities Assist in the design and implementation of the Program Management Plan and applicable sub-plans (including Risk Management, Change Management, Scope Management, Schedule Management, Communications Management, Stakeholder Management, and Quality Management) based on existing templates. Assess the current state of assigned projects; identify key gaps in communications and schedule integration; and perform risk and other oversight functions, comparing those with Program-defined standards and guidelines. Conduct project and program meetings with required stakeholders. Proactively oversee and monitor project activities, based on standard processes, to increase level of successful product deliveries. Coordinate with Project Manager, Project Team, Client and other stakeholders in implementing standard processes. Proactively review integrated project plans and identify risk areas and manage resolutions/ mitigation. Ensure proper project communications. Ensure that program meets or exceeds expectations by overseeing all program activities to include, but not limited to, schedule, scope, budget, risk and quality control. Serve as a liaison between the client and the company, providing quick resolution to issues that arise. Facilitate activities between the company, customers and partners, providing continual status reports and resolving issues in a timely manner. Manage customer expectations with regard to the program and related activities. Explore methods for improvement, and make recommendations to company management and customers for improving and/or enhancing the program. Actively engage in change management with stakeholders to ensure successful acceptance and readiness of delivered solution. Participate in backlog management and assist client in scope prioritization. Assist the client in identifying deficiencies or ambiguities in contractlanguage or program documentation. Assess and communicate any program impacts due to delays in product delivery. Provide operational support for deployed applications and systems.  Serve as liaison between Program staff, Business Owners, Product Owners and Integrated Project Teams.  Coordinate and Participate in User Acceptance Testing. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 3-5 years of project, product and/or program management experience. Strong analytical experience. Demonstrated skill in the management and control of schedule, funds, and resources. Demonstrated ability to manage project risks and issues. Excellent client and team building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with decentralized teams. Experience using project management toolsets such as Microsoft Project (Enterprise Edition preferred), as well as Microsoft Office Suite (particularly, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio) proficiency. Desired Qualifications PMI certification(s) preferred.  Understanding of CMMI ML3 processes preferred. Experience with or knowledge of SAFe principles preferred Experience with CMS XLC processes is a plus. Federal government agency work experience is desired. Preference for experience in multiple types of environments including Waterfall and Agile. Requisition ID : 1216

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
