People Encouraging People offers quality mobile behavioral health services to people with serious and persistent mental health and substance abuse disorders.

In order to continue our mission of quality care, we are seeking an Addictions Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment team.

The successful candidate that will be selected to join a dynamic and growing team of professionals will provide training in substance abuse prevention and sobriety maintenance, incorporating a 12 step focus.

Must be able to work with individuals with?co-occurring mental illness and/or substance abuse in the community as well as in groups.

This position also will provide transportation to and from community activities and AA/NA meetings.?Developing monthly activity calendar identifying community resources to support sobriety and resources.

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Certified in Addictions treatment required (CAC, CAC-AD, or ADT Trainee Status).

  • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
