Responsibilities:
Kforce has a client seeking a Project Control Specialist in Windsor Mill, MD.
Summary:
The Project Control Specialist participates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
Responsibilities include significant interface with program and project managers, senior technical staff, government customer as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, subcontract management, etc.
Position will be assigned to one of the CICDIM Project Portfolios.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Project Managers and Portfolio lead to manage and maintain project risk, issue, action item and decision logs Work with Project Managers to report weekly status to the customer Schedule required program training for program team of 100
members Assist with program onboarding preparations including scheduling training and organizing onboarding activities for new hires The ideal candidate will support project management with meeting preparation and assist in developing project-specific on boarding processes and materials Assist the Portfolio Lead and Project Managers with developing, managing and updating the project schedule Work with Portfolio Lead and Project Managers to create and maintain project forecast to ensure project resources are properly managed Assist with documentation quality reviews The ideal candidate will mentor junior employees - guiding, training, and assist with career development REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 3-5 years of Project Control or related experience is required This position requires a working knowledge of the Project Control field and the ability to complete assignments of moderate complexity on time within a fast-paced environment and the ability to learn new processes and tools Must be analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team Self-motivated and able to work cross functionally with little supervision Critical thinking skills Must be flexible and adaptive to a changing environment Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required Well organized and detail orientated Requires mastery of MS Office Software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience with MS Project and Visio Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
