Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our apartment community. As a maintenance technician you will hold one of the most important positions in our apartment community. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, be experienced in diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural, and appliance. Primary duties include but are not limited to:



  • Performing general maintenance such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.

  • Responding to residence service request on a timely basis

  • Keep pools, fountains, hot tubs, and other amenity areas in clean and operable condition.

  • Responsible for the supply and upkeep of all property tools required by Harbor Group.

  • Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

  • Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies and property community policies.

  • Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.

  • Responsible to be available to work on an on-call basis.


Qualifications:

Education:
Required: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
Required: One to Three years related experience and/or training
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Required: Valid driver?s license, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) certification
Preferred: Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
